Advanced Concealed Carry

Advanced Concealed Carry

$249.00Price

The Advanced Concealed Carry Course is designed for intermediate to advanced shooters. The course includes basic martial arts skills in pistol disarms and basic knife attack defense.

The shooting portion of the class includes a refresher in the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting, Pistol Shooting Positions, Common Pistol Shooting Errors, Clearing Common Pistol Stoppages, and Selecting Pistols, Ammunition, Gear, and the best Concealed Carry Positions. Students will then progress to drawing and firing from concealed at their own pace. This drill will be conducted until the student demonstrates an acceptable level of proficiency; there is no predetermined time limit.

Once the student has demonstrated the ability to safely and correctly draw and fire from concealed, each student will demonstrate what they have learned by drawing from concealed while being timed by the instructors.

The course also teaches the student how to “flinch" draw their pistol from concealed and fire to their right or left without using their pistol sights. This learning objective will begin with the student seated in a chair and firing at a stationary target.

Ultimately, the student will progress to flinch drawing from inside a vehicle and shooting out the passenger side window of the vehicle. Additionally, students will be instructed on how to properly carry concealed while seated inside a vehicle with their seatbelt fastened. This will serve as the foundation for the student eventually safely and properly drawing their handgun from concealed and engaging a target out the driver's side window.

At the conclusion of the course, the student will have a working knowledge of how to carry concealed and how to safely and quickly access their pistol from concealed and effectively engage a threat.
